Sleep City Crisis = the solo project of Miami Resident, Damian C.

In a tiny part of the Earth, in a tiny space where a laptop is located, a sound alchemist grabs particles of sounds and inspired by mass manipulation of audio, creates an auditory tale.

Sleep City Crisis = Electronic and electronic rock ranging through mixed sub genres. Sleep City Crisis has been described by others to be a blend of Nine Inch Nails, Memory Tapes, Prefuse 73, RJD2, Aphex Twin, Thom Yorke, and others. Mainly influenced by Nine Inch Nails, Prefuse 73, and Thom Yorke, while the songwriting influences comes directly from PJ Harvey.

While lacking the desire to over think genres too deeply Sleep City Crisis combines ambient, rock, IDM, drum n bass, trip-hop, prog rock, experimental pop, glitch, and electro-acoustic sometimes in a pop song structure and sometimes in a improvisational not-so-overly-edited approach. Sometimes it's human, ghostly, or alien.
